We ship our magazines across the UK and internationally. The Rodeo has travelled to all continents on its journey so far and we want that to continue.
Customers will receive an email notification once their item has been shipped and it is in the hands of the mail service. We do our best to get orders out on the same day they are placed or the next following day.
Magazines are packaged in protective cardboard packaging and shipped through the Royal Mail. However, if it occurs that damage has occurred to your package in transit, please get in touch and we will see what we can do.
Due to being an independent publication, we sadly cannot subsidise international postage rates and those calculated at the checkout are solely to cover the costs we are hit with at the Post Office.
How do we calculate postage?
As we’re an independent company based in the UK, and handle all our shipping personally, we sadly can’t afford to subsidise shipping like many big companies can. We’ve introduced a weight-based shipping policy that mirrors the Royal Mail’s pricing categories for UK and international orders, so that it is fair for the customer and sustainable for us. We simply want to cover the costs – nothing else.
The Royal Mail aren’t great when it comes to big packages, so if you order lots of items at once, we may send it by courier within the UK. If you’re wishing to make a bulk order, or interested in stocking the magazine, get in touch and we will be able to offer you a trade discount.
Shipping costs are calculated at the Cart and/or Checkout stages, and update depending on the total weight of your cart. Just make sure to click ‘Update Cart’ if you alter your product selection.
Why does it say there is no shipping option available?
This occurs most often when the total weight of the items in the cart surpasses the weight categories we have available. As we’re an independent company, we’re limited to the options on offer by Royal Mail, and our magazines are generally sent as ‘Large Letters’ rather than ‘Parcels’. Generally when this message occurs, it is because we do not think there is a viable and affordable option which we can offer the customer.
If you want to order something but are met with this message, please email us on office@therodeomag.com and we will see if there is an alternative option. Similarly, to order in bulk, please contact us to arrange special delivery.
