Straight outta Camden, a shit-hot folk EP that we’ve stumbled across by pure chance. Waster’s Blues is the debut EP from Dom Glynn, a resident in the estate of Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan. The EP is rammed tight with a glaring truth of despair and gloom, spread across a set of vocals that range from soft to harsh, desperate to tender.
In a three-song expression of maturity and wit, Waster’s Blues sounds more like the return of a legend than the start of a story – a skill Glynn developed as a regular at Camden’s Spiritual Bar, home to Spiritual Records.
What little we know beyond the music is intriguing, but as Spotify aptly states, “the legend of Dom Glynn has just begun…”. We’re waiting Dom. Patiently.
