To base a band’s merit on volume, variety and sheer like-ability, it’s safe to say Picnic won Tipping Point. Bringing their trademark ‘Good Vibes Only’ to Tyne Bar, their tenacious saxophone-y goodness could be heard right along the river and was the ultimate pre-requisite for an absolutely banging afternoon.
Sunshine? Yup. Big fat jazzy pop tracks? Naturally. Amazing trousers courtesy of front woman Robyn Walker? Absolutely.
