Manchester Psych Fest adds Kurt Vile, The Coral and more for 2022 festival
The UK’s leading psychedelic music and arts festival Manchester Psych Fest has announced a huge second wave of artists for its ninth and biggest edition of the one-day event to date, taking place on 3rd September 2022. We are partnering with festival so you’ll be hearing quite a bit about in the coming weeks and months.
Joining the likes of Tinariwen, Warmduscher and Jane Weaver, Manchester Psych Fest 2022 will welcome acclaimed lo-fi star Kurt Vile & The Violators, Liverpool heroes The Coral, fast-rising rock experimenters black midi, punk-rockers Dream Wife, London’s jazz/afrobeat sensation Melt Yourself Down, psych-pop outfit She Drew The Gun, along with the likes of Tess Parks, The KVB, Scalping, Simone Butler (Primal Scream) DJ set and loads more. With over 30 additions announced today, 2022’s festival is set to be the best yet, as it takes over Manchester’s Albert Hall, O2 Ritz, RNCM, Gorilla, Deaf Institute and YES for a full day of incredible live music, DJs, arts, food and drink on 3rd September 2022.
For the 2022 festival, Manchester Psych Fest have teamed up with sponsors and partners Arts Council England, Oxford Road Corridor, BIMM, Secret Meeting Blog and Marshall Amps working towards developing culture and education in Manchester City Centre.
Festival organisers have worked hard to expand the festival area, working closely with venues to create a safe, enjoyable festival experience, with plenty of opportunities for people to see their favourite acts across Manchester’s premium venues.Manchester Psych Fest 2022 takes place on Saturday 3rd September 2022, with live music, DJs, art installations, pop-up street food, merchandise and much more.
