Not stopping to talk, Wolf Alice raced through their eclectic
discography, playing the hits whilst including some unexpected numbers, ‘Sadboy’
and ‘Lisbon’. The band are flawless throughout and ooze confidence. 8-minute-epic
‘Visions Of A Life’ is embraced by rapturous noise whilst the funky riff of ‘Formidable
Cool’ stinks of swagger and drags yet more people into the tent, the crowd growing
as the set progressed. During the bridge of the set highlight, ‘Space & Time’, Ellie Rowsell
paused, wiping the sweat from her brow, wearing a wry grin,
allowing the once timid quartet to take in the applause. A classy set from a
classy band.
