Clad in nostalgia The Monkeys put on an impressive act in Austin. Red boiler suits dot the stage with 8mm in hand shooting the world’s largest band, and Sheffield’s finest don’t disappoint. Swooning and crooning, Turner lampoons the audience. One step to his left and a swing of his trouser leg to the right, and he’s the casino tycoon depicted throughout TBH+C. The boys are tight and strong throughout, keeping to their crowd pleasing ways with performances new and old. Love it or hate it, warp speed chic is here to stay.
