Maybe this is where Jade Bird feels most at home, considering this is how all these songs started, with just her and an acoustic guitar. No jumpsuit, no drummer, no bassist, no guitarist, no need. Her country-strums, powerful voice and bucket-load of high-quality songs from her debut LP is all that was necessary for an afternoon of top class music. Her chat between tracks kept spirits high and people laughing, whilst even the baby at the back refrained from crying at any point. Bravo.
