Perched at the Town Wall bar with a pint in hand, the crisp rack was staring straight at me. I went for Sweet Chilli, obviously. A surprising intensity hit my mouth, a slight spicy tinge but a smooth, soft sweetness left an unusual but satisfying aftertaste. Each crisp was dense, packed full of love, care and crunch, every crumb left you astounded, just about salvaging another pint of Beck’s that had only been bought because funds were starting to run out by this point. Another Sky were similar. An angelic vocal atop of a rock’n’roll backbone, it was sweet and spicy, and very, very, very good.
