Send these lot to Madrid and we’ll love you eternally. Who said romance was dead?
The Post Romantics are in with a shot at playing Mad Cool this summer as part of a talent competition BUT, they need your help!
This is the first time UK bands have been able to battle it out to take to the stage in sunny Madrid, and we want these lot to go.
A dynamic group, their tunes move through mellow tones and tackles subjects such as mental health. This has gained them loyal fans, with their single Call it Off causing riots at their live shows.
We rate they’ll go far, there’s always an excitement and air of anticipation at their shows, every tune building to melodic heights, float across the crowd.
“This time last year we had never played at a festival, so to think were in with a chance to play this amazing festival abroad is just mad. Mad Cool is one of the best festivals around and the lineup is absolutely incredible. We just want to keep playing our music to people who will appreciate it, and there’s no more perfect place for that than Mad Cool.”
Having built up a following in their hometown of Liverpool they have been working their way onto bigger venues and headline slots, gaining support from BBC Introducing Merseyside and this year being asked to play a showcase at the iconic Cavern Club, often noted as the birthplace of The Beatles. But this band’s music deserves to be experienced far and wide, do you think they have what it takes?
You can vote for them here, or you’re barred…
