Hello, my name is Marnie and I’m a Jonas Brother-holic. I don’t care what anybody says, Disney did not make The Jonas Brothers, ok?
After spending my childhood dreaming of attending Camp Rock, hoping to one day marry Joe Jonas, I eventually became too cool for The Jonas Brothers. Funny enough that was the exact same day I became a teenager. Not long after that, they slowly died a death, never to be seen again.
UNTIL NOW. A decade on, we finally have a Jonas Brothers reunion. And I can’t wait! I would be lying if I said I didn’t spend my last £50 on tickets to see them live next year, and I would be lying yet again if I denied that I then had to pass up on what was probably my last chance to see Bob Dylan this summer, as I couldn’t afford to go. Priorities, right?
So even though Joe is married now – and I am forever heartbroken – the brothers’ new album release Happiness Begins sounds perfectly apt to help me face this really difficult reality, I will never ever become Mrs Jonas – unless I settle for Kevin… but who would want that?
Anyway, Nick, Kevin and Joe, I’m so sorry for ever turning my back, I’m a sucker for you. See you in February.
