The open windows at Boiler Shop didn’t exactly suit these boys, natural light filtering through ruining their dark atmosphere somewhat. But there’s not much you can take away from this band. They’re inventive, innovative, creative, whatever ‘ives’ you can find to throw into the mix these boys are it. There’s a lack of stage presence though, not so much a lack of confidence but more their desire to remain the moody alt-rock kids that have been brought up on a strict diet of Matt Berninger and Matt Berninger only. It was good, but next time, we hope there’s no natural light getting in the way.
