This was a little bit loud, something wasn’t quite right it seemed. Bit tired by this point too and a little bit baffled by the band playing beforehand – more on that later – so all in all, not the perfect end to the day, but hey, you can’t win them all. Avalanche Party are usually top notch but it felt like were trying to be something they’re not, trying to exaggerate their energy and devilish performance which usually comes so naturally to them. They’re normally an enthralling watch but something was off this time round, the ears are still recovering.
