It’s been a while for the Blaenavon boys and amongst all the struggles they’ve morphed into a four-piece. Not sure what to make of that. Not that it matters. Ben was in leather pants, a mesh black top and a pastel pink Lorde hoodie. Not sure what to make of that either. Except the Lorde hoodie, that was lovely. God I miss Lorde. The tunes were good though, nostalgic in a way and his voice is an angel delight. But they were pretty static, they seemed just happy to be back on stage rather than making this a memorable come back. There was a lack of bounce or energy which was a shame really. But we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. There’s bound to be a little bit of rust kickin’ about. It won’t be long before they’re back to normal, right?
